I feel so unfaithful. I've become some kind of xanga traitor. Oh facebook.

Feast was last night. It was Christmasy. A bunch of girls went with some guys from our brother mod. In the words of Travis, "Thank you God for these dates that aren't really dates". Good times. And then we watched an annoying movie that was also very funny, and went to Druber's.

Today I was basically worthless. I love how on Saturdays we always wake up at 11:00 and act like it's soooo early, and then don't do anything the rest of the day.  My mod ate a Puerto Rican meal today, which was pretty much amazing, and then some of us went to Newell's. So now I am officially out of money.

I can't believe the semester is almost over.  It went so flippin' fast. And now I have to decide things.  But on the plus side, I get to go home for this first time all year. I can't even wait. Ok that's all i'm tired.

I'm feeling very christmasy right now.

This weekend I went with a ginormous group of people to megan's house in missouri to see this big christmas concert thingy that her dad's quartet sang in.  The women were very sparkly and there were small, expressive children in the men's choir. It was festive.

Being in an actual house again made me really want to go home. I can't wait for christmas. But I keep reminding myself that this is my last year at hesston and i need to make this time count, dang it!

All the RA's on sesame street were gone this weekend. We should have known it would be trouble. I opened my door and was greeted by the mess that is tara's room. It made me laugh a lot. You girls are thorough! They switched just about everything, even that stuff in my closet that i will not mention...

So sometime during this weekend, Jesus told me to stop ignoring him. I realized I've been really wrapped up in a lot of stuff lately and I need to refocus on what's really important. I'm going to work on that this week.

Umm...the end.

Goodness it's been a while.

Stuff that was awesome about Thanksgiving:

1. My parents came out Wednesday and left Saturday morning. Yay for quality family time. They stayed at Robert and Luann's, so I spent a lot of time there. Good times.

::::someone is playing Christmas music right this very moment, and it is making me very happy:::::::

Anyway.

2. Liz and Kidron came Wednesday night, and Rachel came Thursday morning.  There was much rejoicing. I miss those girls.

3. Me and Evie taught Sam to make spaghetti and lasagna, cause we're cool like that.

4. I went to Newell's 3 nights in a row. It was actually pretty ridiculous.

5. Girls night out with Rachel.

6. The break from classes was amazing, although it made me dread these next 2 weeks even more.

Speaking of the next two weeks, I think they might kill me. Not even joking. I actually cannot wait for finals week.  It will be relaxing, if you can believe that.

So it's snowing right now, which makes me extremely happy, because that means Christmas is coming. Yay Christmas.

It's heilsgeschichte time again, and the freshmen are freaking out. It makes me giggle. Poor, silly freshmen.

So my computer was making funny noises, so I cleaned it out with the air-in-a-can stuff, and it sounds better, but now I have a virus. This is a sad thing. I don't have time for a virus.  Speaking of time, I have to go to class....

Last night I went to the corn maze with Gemma, Joella, Evie, and Ingrid. It was so much fun, I can't even talk. For most of the time, we completely ignored the map they gave us and ran around like maniacs, pretending we were stealthy and trying to scare people. We looked pretty suspicious, I guess, because the guard person ("bird watcher") followed us around for a good half hour, until he got distracted by the drunk people. Once we decided it was time to go, we looked at the map and got out with no trouble, because we're awesome. Or, they're awesome I guess, I just kind of followed and trusted we'd get out. I'm so bad with directions. Then we had a photo shoot with the pumpkins. Good times.

Well that was a good waste of time. I suppose I should do some homework now, since I haven't since Sunday.

So...I don't want to do homework. I just don't. It's not even like I have a whole lot of it. I am just severely lacking ambition today. Probably because it is so GORGEOUS outside and I just want to go play in some leaves.

I'm really glad homecoming is pretty much over, so the old people will leave. They've been everywhere. You can't really walk without worrying about running over one of them. I hate when there are extra people on campus. They walk around like they own the place and look at us like we shouldn't be here. I always feel so awkward or something when people are here, and I live here! They should be uncomfortable, dang it!

Here's a run-down of my weekend: Friday was the chorale concert with the combined choirs and those crazy people who bounce when they sing, then I went to the play, which was really good, by the way, and then I went to Newell's, where I did not get cheese fries, and Tara threw ice at perspectives.  Saturday was the inauguration with the chocolate fountains (it's ridiculous how much fun I had with those) and the gala thing in the evening, where I discovered my true calling is interpretive dance.  And now I don't feel like writing anymore....yeah.
